Bargain finds!

So we went to a thrift store today (2nd time this week) and found some really neat things!  We actually went to puchase a foosball table but decided against it after much conversation.....did not think we we would get much use out of it BUT it was a great deal at $64!  So we opted for a few other "finds"for a total of $16...

Meats, Meats, and Meats

So I always buy my fish and beef at Publix, but I do buy my lean ground turkey and chicken and porkchops at Walmart.  Today I breezed through there and got some great deals!  I found a whole chicken, 10+ porkchops, 4 lean 97% fat free turkey burger patties and 1+ lb of ground lean turkey for about $19.  Not bad!

Trading in the "old" for the "new"

So this is my first Blog Post....at the request of a very dear friend (TRACY) I have decided to share my money saving idea's and finds on this "Blog"..although you may find me ranting about other things depending on my mood that day..LOL!

So last week I went to "sell" our old clothing to a consignment boutique here in Hoover, AL.  Great little place called Then Again that not only sells and buys kids clothing but also Womens clothing, shoes, purses, you name it!  They were quite picky but I made a whopping $18 off our "stuff".  I was blessed to get $18 so I opted for a store credit rather than cash since I liked their "stuff".   After much hunting around the store I really came out with a bargain!  I got a brand new (w/tags) black top and brand new necklace & earrings for $15 out the door!  I was pleased!  Never know what you may find at a resale shop!
