Shampoochie Dog Soap--A++++++

This dog soap is amazing and your pup will smell amazing all week!  We have been using this since December and would not imagine using anything else to wash our dog!  My in laws found this in Georgia on a trip and brought some back for us.  Since then, I have introduced it to my sister and she loves it for her lil Ava!

The Chandlery in Melbourne, FL

Skinnygirl Hummus...not a fan ;(

I was at Super Walmart and bought this Skinnygirl hummus thinking it would be pretty good.  Not so much!  A lil dry for hummus.  Not horrible but I won't be buying this again!

What's for dinner tonight?

Tonight we had grilled chicken breasts made with Organic Ville Island Teriyaki marinade http://organicvillefoods.com/products/teriyaki-sauces/island-organic-teriyaki/, turnip greens, and a kale salad we got from Publix.  Easy and delish!  This bag of turnip greens was $3.98 at Super Walmart.  It was huge!  Half the bag made a full large pot of greens.

Meat deals-Super Walmart

This week I hit Super Walmart for a few items and ended up getting my meat there on sale.  Normally I go to Sam's to get it  but these deals were good and it saved me 10 miles round trip :)

Paleo Fried Chicken..by Paleo Comfort Foods

This yummy recipe came from my cookbook http://paleocomfortfoods.com/ I got this cookbook when I lived in Birmingham and that was the last time I made this tasty dish.  My kids loved it then and loved it tonight.  No dipping sauce needed by the way ;)

  

Ingredients

1 cup (250 mL) coconut oil
2 large eggs
1 cup (150 g) almond flour
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. chipotle powder (optional)
2 pounds (900 g) chicken- thighs, drums, breasts (I used breasts and split them in half)

Directions

1. Heat oil in large frying pan to 350F (175C) and preheat oven to 400F (205C)
2. Whisk eggs in medium sized bowl
3. Combine all dry ingredients in large bowl and mix well.
4. Dip chicken in whisked eggs.
5. Coat/cover chicken in dry mixture and place in hot oil.  Allow both sides to brown (about 2 minutes each side).
6. Place drying rack on sheet pan and assemble chicken on the rack so there is space between all pieces. (I just put alum foil on a cookie sheet-that's it)
7. Put chicken in oven for 10-15 minutes.  Remove and serve.
